A beautiful hotel inside the amazing city walls. Super clean. Super friendly. Top class. Excellent room overlooking the gardens. Top class breakfast. Marvellous staff. Only one regret: we should have used the restaurant for the dinner because our restaurant up town was just average. Close to the amazing attractions. 100% recommended.

Stayed with parador the very first time, very classic, a bit dated, solid service level, excellent setting. The parador avila is not disabled people friendly, very difficult to access to the room with luggage, no porters considered their customers are mainly older generation. The parking is limited, very stressful. We ended up parking in a pay parking lot outside the wall.

This was our first point of stay during what was planned to be a 2-week road trip. Sadly my wife had a fall and badly injured her ankle and wrist during the first full day (no alcohol involved). The hotel were very good and helped get medical support and overall this Parador is very good. our room was excellent and the food at the hotel was exceptional. The steak massive !!! The parking was very good in the garage and the Parador is really well located in the middle of the town. There was a festival on when we visited. A really good place to stay for a couple of nights.

We had a lovely view of sunset from our small room, checkin as ever, took a while, good small car park in hotel but space limited, no kettle in room , bed little hard, enough pillows provided, good shower, walk around the walls , worth doing, local eateries nearby.
